Well hey there. Thanks for taking a journey into the madness that is my mind.
My Story:Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down,
and I’d like to take a minute just sit down there,
I’ll tell you how I became a fangirl on a website called Tumb-lr.
In Southwestern Ontario, I was born and raised,
indoors is where I spent most of my days.
Readin’ books, sleepin’, relaxing all cool,
and watching some movies inside my room.
When a couple of shows, who were up to no good, started makin’ me obsessed with their fandom-hood.
I got one lil’ obsession and my friends got scared,
and said “You’re making a blog on this website called Tumb-lr.”
I went on the site, and when it came up,
the screen said “Dashboard”, and had fandoms everywhere.
If anything, I could say that this site was rare.
but I thought nah forget it, yo home to Tumb-lr!
I created my blog at about 7 or 8,
and I yelled to my family, “Yo Holmes, smell ya later!”
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there,
to sit on my blog as a fangirl on Tumb-lr.
Some Quick Facts:
-Well as you already know, my name is Emily. I am from Canada, and of course I ride my pet polar bear to school everyday. It’s what we do here, eh.
-I am a red head from an entirely red headed family. It’s pretty cool.
-I have two cats ( Teasle & Archie), and some pretty awesome fish (Steve, Spike & Santana).
-I adore films, & the art of film making.
-My spirit animals are: Chandler Bing, Mycroft Holmes & Dwight and Michael from the Office.
-One of my dreams is to travel Europe.
-Harry Potter is my childhood.
-I have many fears. Moths, clowns, insects, eyes, heights, closed spaces and large crowds.
-Purple and green are my favourite colours.
-Glee makes me happy. Most of the time.
-British actors make me feel all the feelings. Mostly sexually frustrated.
-I have a ridiculous sense of humour and laugh at my own jokes.
-I love Sherlock, Glee, House, The Big Bang Theory, The Office, Family Guy, Seinfeld, How I met Your Mother, The X-files, and The Sopranos.
-From Sherlock, I ship Johnlock (like there’s no fucking tomorrow), Mystrade (why the hell not), and Lestrade/Molly.
-From Glee I ship Klaine (they are my babies okay), Tike, & Faberry.
-From House all I care about are three people; The main doctor himself, Wilson and Chase. I just want them to be happy.
-I like a lot of nerdy things, like Star Wars, Jane Austen novels, Star Trek, Mobster movies, Sci Fi movies, and just a lot of random stuff.
-When I say I love film making, I mean I am in love with it. I want become a director some day, and my idols are Tim Burton, Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese.
-Movies that I love are: The Breakfast Club, Pride and Prejudice, The Harry Potter Series, Forest Gump, Love Actually, Bridesmaids, basically every Disney movie, Marley & Me, 50/50, & It’s Kind of a Funny Story.
-I also love musicals. Rocky Horror is my favourite though.
-I love anything and everything to do with Andy Warhol. That man was a genius.
-I love music. Anything from Oldies rock, to punk, to Indie Folk. At the moment I’m kind of obsessed with Fleet Foxes and Bruce Springsteen (who I am seeing this summer and I could almost pee my pants with excitement).
- I adore many actors. Here’s my list; Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Hugh Laurie, Rupert Graves, Alan Rickman, Andrew Scott, Colin Firth, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant, Darren Criss, and a bunch of other ones I can’t remember at the moment.
-I kind of have an addiction to Johnlock fanfiction, Diet Coke, and gum.
-Basically, I am an obsessive fangirl who likes to think she’s pretty cool (even though I’m actually the biggest dork there is).
-Also, I like making new friends. So, lets chat and such.
Unpopular Opinions:
-I do not have any real life ships. And that especially includes Crisscolfer. I do not care if you do, just personally I think it’s an invasion into their personal lives if I go ahead and ship them with one of their co-stars. They are not together, so therefore I do not “ship” them. They are real people, not fictional characters.
-Ahh, here’s another incredibly unpopular opinion. I am not a fan of the Hunger Games. I have nothing against the fans, the books or the movie, or anything related to it, I just don’t really like it. I did read the first book, and it just wasn’t my cup of tea.
-One Direction. No. Just no. Again, nothing personal, just don’t like em’.
-I love Severus Snape more than any other character in Harry Potter, and I ship Snape/Lilly.
-I have so many mixed feelings towards James Moriarty. It confuses me. I hate his character, but I just find him so…intriguing. Yes intriguing. And kind of, almost… sexy in a way. But gross at the same time. And effing scary. It’s a love hate relationship I think.
